Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Banking sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.96%.

The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Austriacard Holdings AG (AT:ACAGr), which rose 4.11% or 0.22 points to trade at 5.57 at the close. Meanwhile, Alumil (AT:ALMr) added 4.04% or 0.15 points to end at 3.73 and Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr) was up 1.94% or 0.14 points to 7.34 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr), which fell 3.88% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.31 at the close. Gr Sarantis SA (AT:SRSr) declined 3.69% or 0.40 points to end at 10.44 and Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr) was down 3.18% or 0.06 points to 1.70.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 78 to 36 and 23 ended unchanged.

Shares in Alumil (AT:ALMr) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.04% or 0.15 to 3.73. Shares in Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.18% or 0.06 to 1.70.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.07% or 1.80 to $2,574.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.45% or 0.31 to hit $68.39 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.43% or 0.31 to trade at $72.25 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.03% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.33% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 106.71.
