Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.32% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr), which rose 3.02% or 0.26 points to trade at 8.88 at the close. Meanwhile, Intrakat Technikon Kai Energeiakon Ergon AE (AT:INCr) added 2.98% or 0.14 points to end at 4.84 and Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr) was up 1.62% or 0.06 points to 3.77 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr), which fell 4.43% or 0.12 points to trade at 2.59 at the close. Elton S.A. (AT:ELNr) declined 4.23% or 0.08 points to end at 1.72 and Fourlis Hld (AT:FRLr) was down 3.18% or 0.12 points to 3.65.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 74 to 48 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.43% or 0.12 to 2.59.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.44% or 12.00 to $2,741.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.92% or 0.65 to hit $70.12 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.79% or 0.59 to trade at $74.37 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.19% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 104.07.
